"Two roads diverged in the woods, and I took the one less trvaveled by, and that has made all the difference" - Robert Frost

About

Welcome to Mason Fuller Online. I am using this site to document and publish photos and written journals of my travels around the world. I had a great time in college and before I anchor myself to a business venture, family, and home I want to learn what I can about the world. Understanding that there are few chances in a person's life to take a year to devote oneself to travel, I have decided to launch a trip around the world in February '04.

Biography

I was born in Williston, North Dakota in 1982. Shortly thereafter I moved with my family to Boise, ID where I consider myself to be officially "from". I had a great time in growing up as an Idahoan and loved the state so much that I decided to go to college at the University of Idaho. Before I left for college I spent a summer as a congressional intern in Washington DC where I had many amazing experiences on capitol hill. When I did I start my Finance degree I never felt satisfied just going to class, doing homework and indulging in the jack-assery of fraternity life so I worked on opening a small business in partnership with the College of Business and Economics.

Stovers Deli was born and thanks to the help of many friends and great employees was a huge success on campus from the day it opened. Serving flatbread pitas and specialty salads, Stovers was a platform for experiential learning and budding entrepreneurialism in the college and turned out to be extremely lucrative as well. When Stovers finally opened and became self-sustaining, I turned my energies to campus politics by working in the student government (ASUI) as the Community Relations Officer. I spent 3 years working in many areas of student life and made the decision to run for student body president. Again, with the help of many wonderful and dedicated friends I won and took the seat in December of '02. I had a lot of fun with everyone and worked hard to build up the organization as well as bring attention to higher education issues at the state-wide level. I just finished my time on campus in December '03. I sold my condo, car, and possessions so that I could spend the next year traveling, studying, and finding opportunities abroad. This brings us to the present.

What do you think?
Will Mason make it all the way around the world?

Yes, I have confidence
No, he will only make it for 1 month
I give him at least 3 before he cracks
Give him a chance, 6 months at least
